Eurong is situated on the Eastern side and about 36 km from Hook Point. It is also a central location for accessing many of the attractions on the island from the Blue Lake Mackenzie through to Central Station and over to the west side or onto the beach and just turn left and head up the beach to Eli Creek, the Maheno shipwreck and then Indian Head and Champagne Pools. This small township is dingo safe with a dingo fence completely surrounding it. Please note that no pets are allowed anywhere on the island.
