My name is Karen. We looked into several agents. One of them we actually had in our home, and he came through and we interviewed him. He was very good, but the price he recommended was too low, and he wanted upfront advertising money. The other one we looked into was Purplebricks, but we didn’t get very far with that one.
But Corey and Phil were brilliant. It was no upfront costs, they were open and honest with how much everything was going to cost after the sale of the property. We ended up getting what we really wanted, and that was about $21,000 over the original asking price.
It took us only 3 days to sell, that shocked us, actually. It was just so mind-blowing as to how quick it went, we didn’t even get to do an open house, which I thought was good because then I didn’t have to run around every Saturday making sure everything was clean and tidy.
The reason I know we got a good price for our property, is because it was above and beyond what we expected. It was at the top end of what Phil had said was possible. We even spoke to another agent and said, “Is this price possible?” And he sent me a text saying, “It was possible, but not probable.” And I was like, okay. So, we didn’t know what we were gonna get, but what we did get was fantastic, we were very happy.
